Peace doesn’t just mean the absence of war — it means tolerance, justice, education, economic opportunity, and mutual respect. All of these goals can be achieved when young people are involved.
How Youth Can Build a Peaceful Society
- Promoting Tolerance & Unity
Youth can break the barriers of sectarianism, ethnic hatred, and provincialism by promoting the message of unity — “We are all Pakistanis first.” - Spreading Education & Awareness
Educated youth can fight ignorance, extremism, and fake news by promoting critical thinking, civic education, and the importance of peace in Islam and democracy. - Volunteerism and Social Work
Youth-led community service — like cleanliness drives, health camps, and literacy programs — builds a culture of care, responsibility, and peace. - Using Digital Media Positively
Instead of spreading hate, misinformation, or wasting time, youth should use platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, and WhatsApp to spread peace messages, interfaith harmony, and motivational content. - Participating in Democracy
Youth must actively take part in voting, peaceful protests, and national dialogues. Their voice matters, and they must be aware of their constitutional rights. - Rejecting Extremism & Violence

Islamic Teachings on Peace
Islam is a religion of peace, and Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was sent as a mercy to all mankind. The Quran commands believers to uphold justice and peace even against their own interests. Youth must follow this path and become ambassadors of peace, kindness, and justice in their communities.
